Critical care team honors women healthcare providers during Women in Medicine month

UW Health recognizes UW Med Flight's women providers, who make up 40% of the critical care transport team, during Women in Medicine month.

Our doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, pilot and EMTs respond to critical patient needs. Dispatchers field transport requests for three helicopter bases and two ambulances, and our outreach staff helps train EMS partners and monitor operations so we can be the best possible resource to hospitals and EMS in the region.

We thank all of our incredible women healthcare providers for their lifesaving work and support as part of our UW Med Flight team.
