Some of Jamie's interests: Jamie enjoys many outdoor activities, which include bicycling, swimming and running, rock climbing hiking, fishing, camping and backpacking. She also enjoys more relaxing past times, like playing billiards, dance, reading, and yoga.

Why you chose the University of Wisconsin.
I chose UW for the outstanding faculty and residents, and for a new adventure in Madison.

Favorite part of living in Madison.
I enjoy getting out on the lakes, walking around the farmers market on Capital Square and the National Mustard Museum in Middleton!

Medical/Research Interests.
Global Health, EMS and Wilderness Medicine.

Interests outside of medicine.
Biking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, paddle-boarding, reading, dancing, cooking and eating!

Most Interesting job outside of medicine.
Research in Conservation Biology in New Mexico.. Saving the cacti and other cool wildlife.
